More than 30,000 people pack downtown for twelve hours of fun under the midnight Alaskan sun! Alaska’s biggest one day event showcases live performances throughout the day to keep festival visitors entertained. Food + Shopping booths offering locally made goods and delicious food selections will line our downtown streets. This is an amazing FREE event to experience the best of the midnight sun and the best of beautiful Fairbanks rolled into one special day.

“The guitar in this logo represents the many exciting musical events that the Midnight Sun Festival has to offer. The sun can be seen beaming out of the guitar, as if it is made of sound waves. Well known landmarks and buildings of downtown Fairbanks are showcased along the body of the guitar. The flow of the Chena River is celebrated with abstract swirls that bring balance to the piece.”
